SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it's alarmed regarding the higher number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your large number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area regularly. The support issue produced for intervention activities a superior inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more methods to help the servicing of all clients and boost access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
